Government Projects
City
AKA provides geotechnical services to many cities throughout the Bay Area including Berkeley, Healdsburg, El Cerrito, Pleasant Hill, and Palo Alto. Services have included conducting geotechnical investigations, developing slope stabilization plans and specifications, and providing construction observation and testing services.
County
AKA provides geotechnical services to counties in the Bay Area including Alameda and Contra Costa County. Services have included providing geotechnical investigations for several sites in Alameda County in close proximity to the Hayward fault which required detailed fault hazard assessments.
State
AKA is currently conducting a geotechnical engineering assessment for the State of California Governors Office of Emergency Services (OES) relating to slope instability at the town of La Conchita.
